Weather Changes and Headaches

Many people who are prone to headaches notices certain triggers on a regular basis. Weather being a major one!

A fall in barometric pressure typically means that worsening weather conditions are on their way in. Atoms and molecules in the air are constantly moving, therefore allowing meteorologists to measure air pressure using barometers. As the pressure in the outside air drops, a greater gap is created between that and the air pressure already in your sinuses. This drop in air pressure can quickly cause pain in the sinuses and ear chambers. Additionally, experts believe that people who get frequent headaches also seem to be more sensitive to change in the environment.

Although chiropractic care and massage therapy aren't going to completely resolve this type of headache, they both can be helpful in keeping you more comfortable while your body attempts to regulate.
