Standing vs Sitting Desks

100% do I recommend a standing desk. Keeps you more “active” during the day. It can prevent hunching, low back pain, and even help burn more calories. These are all awesome things to prevent.

That all being said, when you get a standing desk, you can’t be lazy! You have to stand with good posture and balance. Distribute the weight of your body evenly. Hitching, leaning, or locking out one leg is not good posture.

Standing at a desk will prevent the problems you are experiencing while sitting, but can cause new problems as well. Even at a standing desk maintenance is helpful to prevent discomfort and bad habits! Come in and find out if you’re standing incorrectly!
