Hip Pain During Pregnancy: What to do when stretching doesn't help?

Hip pain during pregnancy is very common. It can be caused by a number of different factors including: increased relaxin production, altered biomechanics and hypertonic (tight) muscles compensating for the body's changes. Many women first notice this discomfort while lying on their sides in bed. They find it necessary to continually flip side to side to remain comfortable overnight.


So what can you do for this? Stretching seems like the likely solution, however that is not always the case. Many women say that stretching with regards to this complaint only give them temporary relief. This tends to be even more common with very active women, like dancers and strength athletes.


What is my solution? Get rid of all stretching! Stop all of it! And start with these 3 exercises instead!
